San Lorenzo

San Lorenzo is a historical destination found in unincorporated Alameda County. It was one of the first planned communities in the U.S., and construction began in 1944 under a contract between the David D. Bohannon Greenwood Company and the U.S. Navy. With a modest population of about 23,500 residents, San Lorenzo is characterized by a strong sense of community, and the village offers walking paths, parks, and plenty of green space.
